tomorrow is the day
the past few weeks i have slipped back into smoking again.
i quit in january, i did so well and just wasnt doing it at all, it started with the odd one with a friend, then when i was out, then when i was getting tatooed and it just spiralled. i need to nip this in the bud now as a) i cant afford it b) i am sick of it already and c) i am not doing this again its too hard! so this is going to be my accountability thread and also this is linking to weight loss support as i REFUSE to let this affect my weight loss. i have to find other ways to deal with my stress at night, ie exercise. im going to do it cold turkey, just chew gum after meals. i did it with champix last time but this time im gonna do it without as they gave me stomach cramps. please help me guys i am so weak :( |
That is absolutely fantastic :carrot: ... and also hard, but you already know you can do it. It will help a lot to check in on this thread everyday and let us know how you're doing, both to help you resist, and to feel encouraged. Yay for you :D

Good luck to you!!! You're right to start nipping it in the bud now before it becomes a bigger habit. We'll hold you accountable and you're not weak. Weak would be giving in and having another one!

Paula you're absolutely not weak! Everyday I log onto this board and you are one of the most optimistic and strong women here! You can do this (and you know you can because you've done it before) and you will do this! Just think about how great it will feel when you no longer crave and you can say you nipped it in the bud! We're all here for you when you feel you need to inhale :hug:

it will feel awesome and i also feel guilty as ive convinced my mum to quit to which she is after her holiday in a couple weeks. i just dont want to spend the money, we have been so much better off each month not smoking, its paid for our holiday basically and im not gonna get sucked back in! i want a new car dammit! |

Good Luck Paula.... I've been trying to quit forever... I'm down to 4 a day, so I think I can stop soon... You sound like you are ready... with a plan in place, looks like you are covering all the bases... Be done with it... I'm getting to that point myself.... I'll be checking in on your progress for inspiration...
