Weighing in after exercise
Hi everybody!
I went for an hour long walk (and in Appalachian Pennsylvania that means HILLS) today, and when I got home, I took of my walking shoes, drank some water, and then stepped on the scale (I know, I shouldn't weigh myself sooo much. I'm gonna try and only weigh myself every Sunday). I noticed something strange.. ..I thought for sure that all that being on my feet plus the water would make the number on the scale go up... ...but it was actually LOWER. Is my weight just "appearing" smaller because I just exercised... ...or is that a loss? (crosses fingers);) |
I Dont mean to be debbie downer but try not to get your hopes up. I usually "lose" 2lbs after a good work out even after drinking about 34oz of water. Its cool to see what exercise does though... I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

I generally lose between 2 and 5 pounds after exercise, even though I'm replenishing fluids while working out. Yes, I'm a sweaty girl. ;)

I seem to gain after a workout!! I really try not to get on the scale after a workout, but sometimes I do. I take it as it's prob just the water I drank.

Weight can fluctuate for no identifiable reason from 2 to 5 pounds just in the course of a day. Sometimes more.
Choose a time to weigh and always weigh at that time. :) Jay |
im always heavier after a workout too....
