There is less than 200 pounds of me!

Seeing that the old pair of jeans that I downsized to a few weeks ago (I haven’t worn them for years) was getting lose on me, I weighed myself yesterday. My last weigh-in was on the 15th (I have decided to weigh myself in the middle and at the end of each month, I don’t want to deal with the numbers on an everyday basis) and at that time I was somewhere between 200 and 199, but I kept my ticker on 200 as it was not a “clean” 199.

So I stepped on the scale, closed my eyes and thought, “Please say 198!”, because that would make mean I have lost (since the beginning of my journey) 10 pounds. When I opened my eyes, the scale read 194.6 – you can imagine how happy I was with that! The readings averaged on 195. Woohoo!!

And, another piece of news – I have joined a gym! I found a gym that I really like only 5 min away from the house (by car) and last night, I had my initial fitness evaluation. The trainer put me on their sophisticated scale and I weighed in at 193.2!!! Before I left, I insisted on being weighed once more thinking it may fluctuate just like other scales, but no, again 193.2 lb. However, since I have no reading from this scale when I started, I will stick with the numbers on my scale at home.

According to the scale at the gym, Yours Truly consists of 64.6 lb of fat and 128.6 lb of fat. My fat percentage is 33.4%, which, surprisingly, puts me WITHIN the desirable range, which is (again, according to this Tanita Body Composition Analyzer device) 23-34%. That seems to me quite high because I still do have a lot of fat on me. My BMI is 28.5 – I believe it should be around 25? I have to look that up.

Anyway, I just wanted to share with you. I am a very happy Tomato this morning – I no longer look like Beefsteak but more like Plum Tomato.

Well I don't know about that, but we shall see! LOL!:D
It feels good, I have to admit.

Ladies, I have to tell you something - obviously I am not very fast on the uptake. I kept seeing the references to "Onederland" and I never quite understood what it meant. When I read Amanda's reply, I was already reaching for the keyboard with the intention to ask for an explanation, when it hit me like a truck. I had to laugh at my own stupidity. :D:D:D

Your starting point and end point are almost identical to mine! Very happy for you! Once you start at the gym it gets addictive and just becomes habbitual. Stoked! Stay on the path!
