Next time if they are making a footlong sub, tell them to cut it in half for you. :lol3: We don't have to eat what people hand us just 'cause it's there... ;) As for the detox--I'd say, eat more fruits! Cantaloupe (which is low cal), apples. Or you could go for prunes or dried apricots. That's the best natural way, I think. And keep drinking that water. Jay |

JayEll, Rockinrobin you're right, I could of just saved the other half of the sub for later. Alas no worries about it now hehe. I added up my calories for yesteray and it didn't break 1000 :o Not good, but I'm trying for a good average. I know somedays I won't eat much and other days I eat too much, I need to even it out a little. I wasn't very hungry yesterday, I just happened to have a bunch of low calorie foods. Today for dinner I made Minestrone soup. No meat, no pasta... ton of veggies. Squash, tomatos onions ect.. it was yummy and had two bowls without feeling stuffed or heavy. I still haven't had as many furits as I need. I only get about 2 servings a day. (mostly a apple and later 3 or 4 big strawberries) I love melons so I'm going to get some watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe, grapes too. I hope it will help with the detox. It's my weekend and I'm hitting the gym late tonight with my DF and bestfriend. I finally got my DF to join our gym. lol now he has no choice *evil laugh* :devil: |
Egads, it was my dad's day to cook and he wasn't feeling up to it so he orders pizza, honey mustard chicken wings and bread sticks. gah! But I was pretty good and stayed under my calories for yesterday. Woot! I counted all my calories for this week and average about 1470 calories. A little lower than I wanted but it seems to be working for now.
We hit the gym hard yesterday, so hard in fact i brused myself on the leg squat weight thingy. We didn't do to the gym tonight but we will go in the morning here in a few hours. I just finished cooking lunch for the week. Shrimp stir-fry yumm-o hehe I lost some weight, the scale reads 257 but I'll wait three days. if after three days it still reads under 257 I'll count it as weight loss and not some kind of everyday weight fluctuation <-- (spelled wrong >_<) Well I gotta go get some house work done before the gym opens. Just thought I'd stop by and make a post. |

I went to the gym with my DF this morning like I said. I did a mile on the treadmil. I ran a quarter lap on every lap for a total of 1 lap...so I ran for 1/4 a mile @_@ crazy. Now if only i could run a while lap straight through lol. I just finished dinner (my breakfast) 75% of it was veggies. I'm eating way more than I thought I would. I detoxed with fruit and water over my weekend and I'm feeling a little better. Right now I gotta get ready to go back to work, which kinda sucks >_< Mondays ya know. |

So I'm home from work. My DF and I are a bit sick (though he acts like he's dying lol) I only worked for half the night so here I am with a glass of cranberry juice and chicken noodle in my bowl.
Upest tummy, headache, fever and sore body, I'll kill if it's the start of the flu. >_< I spent only 30 minutes at the gym today. Though my workout was short, it was hard and I was dripping sweat by the end of the half hour. It was right after that.(about 5PM) that I noticed I was filling icky. My DF had been feeling bad all day and I knew I caught whatever he had. I'm drinking lots of water to keep hydrated. (sp) My scale is going up and down but staying below 258 If I'm still under 258 tomorrow night I'll count it as a 2 pound loss. Woot! |

Because I was ill I didn't go to the gym yesterday or today. I'm feeling about 85% better and I'm gonna hit the gym tomorrow. It's Saturday again and that means another breakfast day at subway with my DF and best friend. I was good this time around. I had a 6" veggie Delite. it was around 265 calories. with the cheese and honey mustard it came to about 320 calories. about a 3rd of what I use to eat. I had "the works" put on it. meaning just about every veggie they had in the place LOL. I felt full but not stuffed. My weight went back up again, but I've been a bit messed up because of whatever bug I caught. I need to detox again and clean myself out. Fiber, fiber, fiber.. and lots of water. Side note: we had a BBQ at work today hamburgers and hot dogs, potato salad and pasta salad and all that jazz. I completly forgot all aobut it and so DF and I brought our lunch to work. Thank goodness because we skipped all that fatty food and stuck with what we brought. I'm so proud of my DF because he didn't stray from his lunch as well even though he could have if he wanted to. (my DF needs to lose about 30 pounds himself ^.^) :carrot: |
Hmm So I went to the gym today and did Cardio for about 20 minutes before I noticed that I was becoming...uncomfortable. I think I may have a UTI :yikes: So I'm downing my Cranberry juice to see if I can get rid of it. Seems it's a side effect from the bug I caught a few days ago. Anyways... I left the gym early because I coulnd't stand being around all those people feeling the way I did. :o
my average calories for this week is 1580, a little better than last week. I'm happy at this number. Now I'll wait and see if my body likes this number as well. ^.^ |
Ha! I experience the same, hehm, thing when jogging once before. I chacked it up to ill fitting clothing but maybe it was a UTI! I wonder how common that experience is :)

I seem to get UTIs all the time, my doctor says it's normal for some people. I've pretty much have it down to a science now LOL. I'm still drinking a bunch of cranberry juice. (the light kind)
Hehe I got on the scale at the gym today only to find that I lost 30 pounds in two days! Drat! I loved that scale; obviously now it's messing up. It was nice to see that low number even though it wasn't true hehe ^_~ I also went to see Speed Racer today and noticed the seats were tight around my hips, good thing I decided to jump back on the wagon @_@ |

I was a bit lazy on my weekend. I still haven't made anything for my lunches this week. I need to get on that as soon as I can. hehe The UTi seems to be under control. My only slip this weekend was a small ice cream cone I got yesterday with my best friend. Most of the time I'll get a medium or even a large. but today i was strong and just got a small, and even the small seemed like a bit too much :carrot: |
