Can I lose it?

Can I lost 10 pounds in 75 days?
I figure 1 pound a week is normal, but could I lose 2 a week?

Can you? Maybe. Will you? We can't control the number on the scale each week. But, we can control our behaviors that will help the number to go down in the long run.

Well, it really depnds on how your weightloss has been. It is certainly possible to lose 2 lbs a week, but often, as you approch your goal weight, the weghtloss tends to slow down. Either way, if you want to lose weight consistently, you really have to be careful- log all your calories and all your exercise.

For me the questions are:
- Why is it important to lose weight so fast?
- How will you feel if you try and don't make it?

I think at your weight that might be tough.

Is it possible for you to think using the reason you want to lose weight to jumpstart a weight loss -- doing things that you can do for life? If you get there, great, but if not, you're on your way to a healthier you!

I agree with the others. It is entirely in the realm of possibility that you could lose 2 lbs a week, but there's also the possibility that you won't. Even eating right and exercising can't guarantee a 2 lb a week weight loss. BUT what you CAN do definitely without a doubt is to make sure you're making strides to be a healthier person... you control the eating and exercise. So even if the scale doesn't show a loss, you'll know deep down that you're doing everything you can to be healthy! That's what's really important, right? Not losing a certain amount of weight in a certain time frame...

Thanks Everyone!
I unfortunately have to be in a "beach wedding", and we all know how everything shows with the wind blowing against your dress!
I want my friend to be able to look at her photos and say, "oh well all look beautiful".....not, "geez, she looks out of place!".
I always thought one pound a week was best, but all the weight loss TV shows have people losing more.
I will try to Fat Smash it again, even though it's ****!

In 75 days ... I would do some extra cardio and lift weights. Even if you don't get to that 10 lb goal, you'll be slimmer. And really, that's what you're after, right?

Unless of course you're 6'2" then ... um, nope ... you can't. ;)

And TV has never lied to us? One pound a week is a great loss. Don't base your weight loss on what you see other people do, especially not from reality TV shows.
