I go for a run on Saturday mornings - I have found that eating breakfast before is just too much to sit in my stomach - but what DOES work for me is a slice of whole wheat toast with some peanut butter... the PB sticks to my ribs w/o being too heavy. Then afterwards my sis and I run to Dunkin Donuts and I get an egg and cheese on an english muffin and a coffee with skim milk and one packet of sugar...
If I were just going for a walk - I would prolly do half a piece of toast w/PB.
