a different TOM question..

I know we all read about and talk about a gain during that time but this is a little different. When I first started watching my weight I noticed I did gain. But the last 2 cycles have been different. Either my weight stays the same (better than a gain right) or a notice a drop during that time. Now I am not talking about at the end here I mean right in the middle or the very beginning. What could cause a change such as that (not that I am complaining).

Everybody is different, so who knows? Your water-weight-cycle has shifted.

There is no "reason" one might retain water differently than someone else. It just is what it is. I say, enjoy it!

since i started my change - I started tracking tom and weight loss - I always bloat up right before I start (usually don't gain, but sometimes 1-2lbs) then once it starts, I lose big time :) About 3-4lbs between the start of tom to the end...it's now my favorite time of the month!

It's all about the hormones. As we get older, our bodies change, and those hormones shift around.

everyone is different...

before i really watched what i ate and gave in to every TOM craving, i would bloat up 4-6lbs prior to my TOM but lose it by the end..
NOW i pretty much stay the same and then still DROP at the end of my TOM, sometimes up to 4lbs. i love my TOM now .. its when i lose most of my weight for a month :) (i've been losing, on average, 8lbs a month)
