I also wanna say congrats on your engagement...
My friends and I recently had a wing night, that ended with a movie and by the end of the movie I was sick. I don't knkow when the next time I will have wings will be because as of right now I just don't want them... they made me feel nasty...when we do go out again I'm with tamaralynn I am sticking with stuff on the healthier side. |
I have basically been eating healthy for about 8 years now. Whenever I "cheat", I really pay for it. I can sometimes gain 5-6 lbs of water weight in 1 day. Talk about feeling fat and gross. I have found it just isn't worth it. Don't get me wrong, I still do it...just not as frequently!

I paid in a similar way recently for three Fazoli's breadsticks eaten in a quick two-minute binge. I just kept saying to myself, "They were SO NOT WORTH IT!" I just need to remember that experience next time I'm tempted.

I did my cheat this weekend and I regretted it too. I went out to a Mexican Restaurant and ordered Nacho with EVERYTHING on it:eek: It was so yummy, but I never did finish it all:D Anyways, I felt bloated, and I felt sick and my stomach was killing me. It took everything that I had in me to go to the gym and try to run everything that I ate off:( I have decided that that was it for me. I am having to face my anniversary dinner in 2 weeks and that scares me. We ALWAYS have a steak dinner and I don't think that I can do that. I may go with Chicken instead......lol:trampo:

Uh, yeah... There *really* is a price to pay, I confirm it. I don't know if it's a good thing (it encourages us to not cheat too much) or a curse. I'll go with the good thing, because I like tothink positive like this. ;)
I particularly remember one evening, last summer, where I got a real scare. I had spent the afternoon at friends', and one of them had brought a home-made chocolate cake. A delicious one. More than delicious. Delicious as in, it was the first time in my life, I think, that I was going on eating even though I was starting to feel sick to my stomach. I don't know if it was all that sugar or all that chocolate or both, but in the evening, when I arrived home, I went into what a very weird moment, something I had never experienced before -- mild nausea, cold sweats, headache, trembling hands... I've never eaten so much chocolate cake or sugary stuff again since then. Yuck! |
