Everyone Weigh in 11/30/07

  • It's time again for the weekly 3FC general weigh in thread. Everyone is welcome to join, just jump in whenever your official weigh in day rolls around. Good luck, everyone.

Me: 180.5, down 2 pounds from last week. Well, after the record gain of last week I was hoping for a record loss this week to counter it, but I suppose this will have to do. Now that things are back to normal after the holiday, I'm still having a much easier time sticking to a sensible eating plan. I know it sounds weird saying this when I'm back in the 180's for the second week running, but I really feel like my plateau is over. I'll be breaking back into the 170's next week, and see more and more losses and fewer and fewer gains (though X-mas might be bumpy!)
  • 190, so i'm down 1lb from last week, and back to my ticker weight after a week.
considering 2 weeks ago was my TOM, and then thanksgiving, and then a particularly debaucherous weekend at the casino which included a divine dinner and LOTS of alcohol I was actually almost back up to my HW at the begining of this week. I know a lot was bloat and water, so i've been combatting that with loads of working out and watching what i eat.
I started a new job this week, and it's a LOT more active (i'm SORE and my gym routine includes a run/jog on the treadmill for about 2 miles and then 30 mins on the elliptical after my weight training at least 3x a week!)
I have a LOT less time to sit at my desk and snack, because i don't have a desk! Even when my snacks were healthy choices, it's definitely better that i don't have that opportunity. the first two days i was starrrving but now that i'm getting used to the structure, it's a lot easier... and i took the job for my mental health, not the added benefit of helping with my weight loss!
  • I weighed in this morning and I am up .2
  • Okay....Down one pound from last friday. I was hoping to be down another one by now but i guess i'll have to be happy with my 4 pound loss for the whole month instead of 5. Oh well...better down one than none!
  • phew--made it through a second thanksgiving
216.2 today. Down 2 lbs since last Friday. Spent the week reading Eat, Drink and Be Healthy, which has made me feel good about deciding to switch to whole foods, veggie+fruits and "good" fats while lowering my overall calorie intake. This is my 24th day of my new approach to eating, and while I feel a little over focused on weight and what I eat, I feel more informed and heathier. Have a good week all.
  • Still 158. Working off that Thanksgiving stall!
  • I loved this thread even as a lurker ... glad to be able to post to it today for the first time ... with a loss of (even just!) 1 pound. Yay! After being stuck for several weeks, I'm elated!
  • I am still around, but with family in Michigan. They don't have a scale. I am sure I have gained weight.
  • Do you really want to know? No? Good! 158.5 this morning...it has been a mindless unending munchfest since slightly after Thanksgiving...(which, ironically enough wasn't too bad) I slacked off with my 2 cups of soymilk every day...I slacked on my Progestacare cream and then paid for it!! They soymilk regulates my cycles to a pretty steady 28 days...I started at 25 this month...and it doesn't completely free me from the PMS monster but doesn't completely wind him up either!!! So...everything has suffered...my mood...my eating...my exercise...my yoga...my peace... I don't know why if I know what works that I find times where I just don't do it! If anyone figures that out...share with me!!! Please!!! And I am not changing my ticker...so there!!! :P
  • Down another pound to 157. That's a 20% loss from my starting weight!
  • 157.5 yay
  • Absolutely upset, scale says I went up 2 lbs from just a couple days ago which is hard to understand because I have actually been eatting less 216lbs
