Yesterday I started to refocus my weight loss efforst after still eating Halloween candy until then.
Today I walked into the kitchen at work to find 3/4 of a pumpkin cake. It looked great and I hadn't eaten my breakfast yogurt yet so I was hungry. But then I looked at the calories - 230 for a slice. WHen I read that there were 30 slices in that computation, I knew it wasn't worth it. I don't think anyone has a sharp enough knife to cut a cake into 30 pieces. If I did have a piece, I figured it would be about 3 times that or 690 calories. So I walked away and am feeling proud about it. Maybe it looked dried out anyway.

I'm sure it wasn't even a pumpkin cake...it was so old the cake was covered in orange mold.....thank God you saved yourself from what was sure to be food poisoning!!
It is SO not worth it when you find out the calories involved in some of these things!
