Help me figure this out...

Alright so since I hit 130 ( a little under some days) I have been maintaining. Which I am fine with. I have been hovering between 129-132 which I think is pretty darn good for my first time out on maintaining. But I have a question.

I weigh 2 times a day. When I wake up (empty bladder birthday suit) and before I go to bed (empty bladder birthday suit). Yesterday I woke up and the scale said 131 good. Before I went to bed it said 129. Got up this morning and it said 131 again. Why did it go up 2 lbs over night instead of staying the same or going down a bit? This has me confused but still happy because I am still within a pound or 2 of 130.

Anyone have any insights.

There is no explaining this kind of fluctuation.

Sometimes we think that if we didn't drink water or eat anything, that our weight would stay the same. Doesn't work that way because we are still breathing, and the oxygen does have weight, and it combines with other molecules in our bodies. Or, maybe it's because the moon hadn't risen yet. No one knows!!!

Were your feet damp from being in a shower before going to bed? Because on some scales, that can make a difference in the reading.

It's only 2 pounds. Don't fret over something like that. My weight can change 3 pounds from morning to mid-afternoon. Weigh once a day, in the morning, after peeing.

Nope feet were not damp. Not really sweating just more curious on why it would do that.

Not an exact science, is all I can say.

There's no way to know this. The human body is a funny thing. Don't drive yourself batty over it. Just stay consistient with your eating and your exercise.

I always weigh less at night. I embrace it :p

You're weight can fluctuate as much as 5lbs during a given day. That's why if you're going to weigh everyday its recommended that you always do it at the same time, they same way (ie. in birthday suit, after bathroom, etc.).

This happens to me a lot. Kinda annoying! I'm not sure why it happens. I just know that our body weights fluctuate all throughout the day. Don't sweat it. :)
