Hello
I don't use the plan you are on but I would like to say hello. Sit down think about why you want to lose weight. To get into a smaller size? To look good in a bathing suit? Or, do you want to lose weight because you want to be heathy. Once you think that thru then you think about what you really want to eat. Everytime you look at food think about, will this taste as good as being thinner and likeing how I look in the mirror will feel.

Most of us here have learned diets don't work. We are changing the way we think about, look at and eat food. It is the day to day changes that will effect us for our entire lifes.

I enjoy the foods from SBD and the cookbook is awesome. I think there is a separate forum here under general diet plans...

Try preparing meals ahead if you can for the days you know time is tight. I like the Minestrone soup a whole lot!!

Good luck! And I'm proud of you for making healthy changes!!

Aymster is right--3FC has an entire South Beach area on the forums! And it has a whole bunch of recipes. Check it out! Scroll down on the main forums page and you'll see it--or use the Forum Jump control at the bottom of the window.

Enjoy!

Don't expect to lose 7 pounds in phase 1. The rate of weight loss varies from per person to person -- and when you don't have much to lose, you often lose more slowly. Good luck to you!
