OMG - I actually LOST!
I have been eating much better since my relapse and weight gain last week and I saw 211 on the scale this morning. 211.0 to be exact.
I am finally back where I was before I fell off the wagon in June. Took a long time, but man was it good to see the scale not laugh at me too bad this morning! A huge stress has been lifted off me, I feel like making it to 200 isn't going to be as impossible now that the scale is moving in the right direction again! |
cakses~WTG!!! You're just like me! I seem to have fallen off the wagon in June and didn't really realize it until July was almost over, and by that time, I was WAY over my danger zone! Today, I'm finally seeing the results of 8 weeks of dieting and exercise. Oh, yeah, I've been losing all those 8 weeks, but I'm finally back to where I was in June, so now it feels more like it counts!
I'm glad your stress has been lifted. Now put that extra uumph into your lifting and running!! |
Hey...well done!!!
Remember this feeling if things get rough again emily xxx |
Cakses, that's great! I know it feels good finally to be making progress. Do you have anything to share about why you relapsed or what you could have done to prevent it? I am seriously hoping to learn something from my own and others' weight management problems.

Well I didn't have a plan really when I first started coming here in May. In June, I bought You on a Diet at the store and started doing that, which worked great for me. But I am awful at sticking to plans where I can't eat certain foods - it makes me want them even more. With my husband leaving for Iraq in July, I began to fall off track big time. I did however, start the C25K running plan in June, so I didn't gain too bad and I was losing inches in my legs just not my waist or bum.
What I am focusing on this time around is overall calories, food portions and staying away from junk. If I make a sandwich and I get full 3/4 of the way through it, I toos the remaining parts even though that kills me to see money wasted haha. I try to listen to my body more, and when I feel myself getting hungry before mealtime, I have water and an apple or some walnuts to tide me over so I don't binge eat. So far so good! |
Congrats on getting back to 211, you'll be in Onederland in no time!
I've fallen off the wagon more times that I can count. Learning how to get back on is such an important thing, you'll likely do it more than once. Keep up the good work! |
Cat, congrats!!! You are doing great!
|
Congratulations!!
I fell off the wagon back in June too and only in the past week have I got back on full-time. I've not seen any results on the scale - YET - but I do feel better and that helps. |
My fall off the wagon happened at about the beginning of August. I regained about five pounds from where I had been, and I have been bouncing back and forth since then. 151 was my lowest weight (ever and this summer!), so I'm looking forward to when I can be back there, so I can then finally move beyond it!
Congrats for getting there!! |
:cp::bravo::cp: Congratulations! I know how hard it is to get back on track, I fell off at the end of July and gained 8 lbs and it took me until a few weeks ago to get back on track. Yay for you! :D
|
:cheer: Yay! Go, Cat, go!! :cheer:
You are amazing :) |
how great is it when you gather up enough motivation to undo the weight you gained when you fall off the wagon :) congrats!
|
Your hard work is paying off CAT! :)

Down another pound. You know, as I watched TV last night I had the inner fight over whether or not to eat the M&Ms in my "stash" haha. I really wanted to see 210 thismorning, so I opted for a frozen fruit bar (sugar free) and wow! I had never bought them before but it felt like cheating and it was 30 calories!
|
Now see, that's what we call a strategy... ;) Good for you for making that choice! Saved yourself unnecessary calories and still felt like you'd had a treat.
