Are scales ever nice?
Everyone seems to have had the experience where the scales was telling them the wrong weight and then the right weight was heavier than the scale reading. Why cant a scale make u seem heavier and then you get new scales and you find out your half a stone lighter :D....
I tell you why, they are EVIL EVIL EVIL scales!!! :P Peace Out! :nose: |
Instruments of torment. They simply need to be put in their place--and left there. Ha! Then at least the readings will be consistent.

Evil, indeed! Sometimes mine will tell me things I want to hear, and then turn around and say TERRIBLE things to me, screaming that the last reading was false, FALSE, FALSE! Meanie. :p

Well, I find the scale is only as nice to me as I am to it. Did that make sense? For the most part anyway. There are times when I am extremely nice to it and it takes a few days to be nice back.
When I eat right and exercise and drink plenty of water, it's extremely nice to me. But then, when I've been nibbling a bit too much and get a little lazy, it turns all evil on me. Real quickly too. ;) |
I've never purchased a scale and had the weight go down from my previous scale. My body fat % reader, though, went crazy and kept telling me my % was going UP, not down. I bought a new one and dropped 10% bf overnight...i guess it had been off for a while.
