I absolutely CAN NOT stand looking at labels in grocery stores, I feel slightly ridiculously, especially with general items such as hamburger buns.
I found out something that's REALLY helped me out. I go to the Stop and Shop website (The chain grocery store for those not in an area that has them) and I go to the Peapod Home Delivery Section in the upper left corner of the website.
When you get there (you obviously don't actually have to place orders) you can look at sections and browse aisles, and look at all the products for general and more specific sections, like salad dressing, and then pick the type like Blue Cheese, etc.
Most products show the label information, so you can pick out what your best option is before going to the grocery store!
It may seem silly to a lot of people, but it's made decision making a lot easier!
