I have Health-o-Meter scale I bought for around $20 if memory serves me right. I find it very accurate. I tested it with handweights, my numbers stay the same when I re-try 5 times over and my weight matches perfectly with my Dr's big slidey scale.

Here it is on amazon for $17.99

I will chime in with support for the Tanita line. They are pricey, but very accurate and reliable. I love mine.

My inexpensive scale that does fat % seems fairly accurate on weight but not on fat %. My 19 y/o son who is Mr. Bodybuilder and has had his fat % done at his college and it was at 11%, on my scale it said 31 % there is no way that is accurate. It was from Walmart. Need I say more.

well all i can say about my scale is that its a load of ........ and it says different things all the time and its a dial so wenever i step of it it isnt anywhere near 0 anymore so i have to keep on rotating the little tab for it to be back in 0 and then i usually step on it 7 times before i step of it and its still on 0 and so forth i think thats closest to my acurate weight!

and it is such a downer aswell because if i had done well all week and i stepped on my scale the next day and it says i have lost 4lbs i wud be very happy then i step off and its on below 0 so i put it right and wen i finaly get my right reading it turns out i am either the same or just 1lbs not half as good as 4 or 5lbs! anyways i wud love to buy a new one but unfortunatly this one is new so it wil be a while before i get a good scale!
