Lumina4ever:
I am no expert by any means. I have found that the kefir in particular is extremely helpful for me, don't know why. More so than say the yogurt. I have done both and whenever I forget and don't get the kefir, my belly pouches back up. I don't gain any weight back just my tummy looks rounder.
Right above the belly button I have a lil pouch that won't quit, but when I start doing my cup of kefir a day where the belly button starts and down, it looks like I cut it with a knife. It's weird. I have stopped and started again a few times. It has nothing to do with how much I weigh. My tummy is just straight up flatter right there when I do the lowfat kefir. Now I have tried the whole fat version. It does nothing for me.
Maybe "why" is because the kefir has like 10 live & active coultures/probiotics that they add in. Most yogurts have 1-2.

This is in response to the raw & living eater... Lifeway wants to thank you for your inquiry. However, we also want to delve a little further into how Lifeway’s Kefir is actually made. Lifeway pasteurizes the lowfat and nonfat milk first. Once the milk has cooled we then add the cultures/bacteria so to preserve the life of the culture. In this way the bacteria is still live and active, working diligently to boost your digestive and immune system. By law we must pasteurize the milk, the only state that allows raw milk is California and there have been several deaths as a result over the years. Raw milk can contain very dangerous bacteria such as salmonella. As we are concerned for the health and safety of our customers we would never produce a raw kefir. We do appreciate your reasons for being a raw & living eater and just want to say that it is wonderful to live in a country that has so many food choices

I have 1 cup of kefir a day. I have 1 serving of cheese a day. (most days, mozarella is low in fat too!) I take 1 centrum multivitamin a day. (I don't really recommend trying to get all your nutrients from vitamins but right now my bottom line is cals in/cals out and eventually I would love to be able to get what I need from food and not a supplement. )
Anyhow I do eat beans/brown rice/broccoli regularily. I try to get a few vegis and some fruit in, although not as much as I know I need to and once I can increase my cals more I will go back to more fruit. The point I am getting to is do whatever you have to to get to fitdays 100% RDA for calcium. That is what I aim for.
But I do NOT do 3 servings of kefir a day. Maybe I should. lol I do 1 cup a day and 1 serving of cheese and the rest I get from the other food(calcium) my vitammin only has 16% calcium.
Someone else on that blog said it helps their tummy too. So I am not the only one.

I find the kefir 2 month ago. While I was looking for (lait Caillee= french word for kefir).I am west african and we drink that kefir all day long whith fruit and orange water flowers.
The canadien said in america look for kefir. It did flaten my tommy really fast, and I love it.I praise the lord,I finely found the diamond food in wisconsin, right at my local store.
I have one question. Why don`t you sell the small bottle for lunch school. My kid loved the flavored one,but they refused to take the big bottle whith them.
Any way I bring a bottle every where I go to the people I visit to inform them about this great lifeway food.
Please keep the good work.
