I didn't eat "the best" yesterday but I stayed within the 1200-1400 calories I'm aiming for. So if I "cheat" and eat some things not on my diet I've been doing what others say, watch what I eat throughout the rest of the day and the next day especially and exercise. My mom has a rule and she's been thin her entire life, that if she over eats she walks harder 1-2 hours after doing this, like Thanksgiving. I've read articles saying to cycle calories, to go up and down 2-300 calories every few days, and some say that cheat days can be beneficial as your body gets used to eating a certain amount, thus if you eat different calorie amounts and throw in some "stuff" the body isn't used to it actually can keep the body revved up. Now that I'm "back on track" though eating right and exercising my body no longer craves most of the junk I was eating, and when I'm tempted I do think - well that would sacrifice two days of cardio and hard work, and I don't really enjoy cardio to begin with...

OK, thanx guys. I'll up my calorie intake. I think I might do the free meal thing instead of a free day, that's sounds like a great idea. Thanks!
