Wow...interested topic because I'm SO THERE. Just last week I said to my hubby I felt so fat, must have gained weight... and at wi I lost over a pound. And he was like, "see??" Good to know I'm not the only one.
I totally agree that we think we should be losting inches at a faster weight. I've lost about 20 pounds but my pants still fit the same. What's up with that? And honestly, even if I was 95 pounds I think I'd still feel fat... I've grown my whole life thinking I was fat. I'm constantly comparing my body to others. Even last night at a restaurant DH saw another mom (totally skinny) and was like, "Wow, she has a nice body"... and although it was said innocently, it makes me feel worse. |

Yep, just this morning I woke up a little bloated because of water retention from sore muscles. I feel huuuuuge, but my scale (even with a 1 lb gain) says I've lost 20 lbs.
It's weird, and I definitely think its all about suddenly being intune to your bodies. Without realizing it, I just never paid attention to my body when I was at my highest weight. |
