Question about fitday.com

Can you add custom activities to fitday.com? I want to include general aerobic activity and Tae Bo. Suggestions?

Hmm I don't know--I use the downloaded version, and I can add all sorts of customized foods and activities to that.

Maybe some of the online users will have an answer...

Nope sorry. I can't add activities. Wish I could.

I use the free online version. I just try to find something close to what i am doing. Like for my cardio class, i choose aerobic, general and put in how many minutes i work out. I figure it must be pretty close to what i do. I hope to buy the other version soon, but i to order a disc for my home computer because i don't have internet at home....or i'd use the free version at home. sorry i'm not much help.

Um... I noticed yesterday that whenever I put in more (minor) activities, like laundry, etc., my calories burned went down! What the heck is going on??? It also calculates that I burned 1146 more calories than I consumed yesterday... I only did a 30 min. 2 mile WATB and consumed 1463 calories. That amount burned seemed a little excessive. Is this site really accurate or do I just know nothing about how the human body works? :p

Oh, yeah and thanks lumifan! I didn't even see the general aerobics and whatnot. Seriously, not all dumbs are blonde. :p

No the site is not accurate. I've done pretty well by setting my lifestyle to bedridden and only adding unusual activities like exercise.

If you put in an activity and your burned went down, the program must be interpreting that activity to use less calories than you do in general. Did that make sense? Like slowing down to do laundry?

I do the same thing. I set my lifestyle to "bedridden" and only put exercises related to working out that are done for a period of more than 15 minutes.

I'm hoping it's at least semi accurate, because it's telling me that I'm burning twice the calories I'm eating, and that's what I'm going for! :D

Thanks guys, I'll set mine to the same and see what happens.
