what kind of scale do you own?
If you have a scale what kind is it and do you like it?
|
Health-o-meter body fat scale
Scale is nice, body fat reading is complete and utter crap. (whoops I had the wrong brand in my original post) |
tanita I think it does some other stuff, but all I need is accuracy and it does that wonderfully.

Conair Weight Watchers digital scale (from Costco). It is the best scale I have ever owned and it was under $30.
|
I forget the brand but mine is just a basic non-digital scale, I got it because I was near broke and it was the cheapest one at walmart! It likely isn't perfectly accurate, and I know that when I stand on different parts of the scale it reads differently (up to a 4 pound difference) so I outlined my feet one day so I know where to stand and it will atleast be consistent!

I have an electronic digital by Salter. Love it. Numbers keep going down :D
Just as a side note, in Value Village yesterday, I stepped on a cheapie non-digital scale that was for sale at $3.99 - was exactly the same weight as at home. That made me laugh... and want my $60 back for the Salter! :D Heather ;) |
Can't remember the brand but it's a digital bodyfat/body water/weight scale...once I figured out the kinks its been quite accurate with all three readings
|
Health-0-Meter "Lifestyler", which I got in 1995, and absolutely love! It was over $100, but worth every penny. It is accurate and stays that way. If somebody moves the scale & accidentally hits the little adjuster is the ONLY time it has to be moved back. When I get my weight read at the doctor's office, with the balance & lever kind, it is the same as my weight at home (allowing for the clothes, of course!).
It is black, with a dial about 24" above where you stand, so one doesn't have to bend over & squint to see the dial; it's right there. It is the best! |
I love my scale. It's a digital Tanita scale. It measures body fat & and water % as well as lbs in 2/10 of a pound increments. I can't vouch for the other 2 functions, but the weight portion is EXTREMELY accurate.
It also has memory for up to 4 people. |
one of those sun something they sell at walmart, its alright i guess i cant blame the scale if the number goes up or what not.. plus i have been using it since the start of my weight loss so its been pretty good to me.

I'm not sure what brand mine is, but it is a digital. i love that it gives me ounces unlike the rotary type scales. IT has memory for two people, but i don't even know how to make it remember my weight. but i don't really want it to remember, i want it to keep changing every time i get on it....preferablely down!!!! lol. But i bought it from Walmart for under $30.

Tanita. I highly recommend it. It's been very accurate when compared against doctor's scales. And it measures body fat!
