Thank you for reminding me of this! I'm going to put my pedometer in my bag and use it tomorrow!! (I'd use it today, but it's 9pm and I'm pretty much "done" for the day!! )

Already used my speedometer today. Did 4.25 miles in the park. 1.25 jogging and 3 walking. ;) At our lunch at a picnic table and let the baby play in the sandbox and swing awhile. Oh, and fed the ducks. ;)

Yes, I agree. Instead of the focus on your weight that fluctuates from day to day, using a pedometer gives me only positive feedback. Anything I do is counted, and it keeps track of all that I've done. It shows me just how much I DO walk around at school and how I shouldn't think my school day is an exercise waste. Apparently, I'm walking around a mile before I even get home!

Add that to the mile I'm doing daily and I'm sure my exercise meter is going to add up fast!

There are no disappointments with a pedometer. Everything is positive, so it's so motivating to me. I'm glad I've found my thing :carrot:

I love gadgets! And if they don't break the bank ... highly recommend as many as you can find. A pedometer, a stopwatch, a heart rate monitor, an MP3, a band, dumbells, a step ... just anything that keeps you going or makes it feel new or fun.
