Default Does anyone else go back and forth

between losing pounds, and losing inches?

I seem to have this yo-yo thing happening. I'll lose pounds consistantly for a few weeks, then I'll have a week where I don't lose any pounds but suddenly my measurements drop.

Don't get me wrong, any numbers moving in a downward direction is a good thing LOL but it's really strange how it seems to be cycling like it is.

I think this is happening to me too. I don't measure but I feel like on the weeks I don't lose any weight my clothes feel looser. Maybe it's just our bodies catching up to the weight lose.

I am totally doing the same thing. The scale showed only one pound loss this past week, but my new jeans which were super tight the Friday before fit perfectly when I put them on yesterday and got looser and looser throughout the day to where I thought I should have gotten the 14's too!

Yes. I will lose insane amounts of weight and no size, and then it will slow down, and all of a sudden, my pants will fall off.

I used to hate the thrift store. Now I like to go, just to try on jeans in sizes that I don't think will fit...then they do! I just bought a pair of 12 (Mossimo, Target, they run small, don't they? That's been my experience, anyway) and a pair of 10 Liz Claiborne jeans for $5 each. OK, the 10s are tiiiight but they'lll fit in a while, and when my 14s are "pants on the ground" I'll be able to pull out the 10s and have them ready!
