Is fitday down for anyone else?

I haven't been able to access it since this morning.

Is anyone else having problems or is it just me?

cbmare 03-16-2007 02:36 PM

It's a little after 11:30 on the West Coast and it is still down.

mandalinn82 03-16-2007 02:36 PM

Not just you - we have a couple threads going.

LLV 03-16-2007 02:38 PM

Oh dear! I didn't see any other threads about it :)

Thanks, guys, I was hoping I didn't get my account closed or something. I'm jonesing bad! LOL

mandalinn82 03-16-2007 02:43 PM

Fitday is just a little bit like a drug for me. I need my fix!

Me too.

I forget exactly how many calories I've had so far today and I'm pulling my hair out!

I'm good at guesstimates, but I'm picky about details.

mandalinn82 03-16-2007 02:51 PM

My problem is that I overestimate. So I'll be convinced I'm having more calories than I am, and since I don't KNOW for sure, I spend all day hungry when fitday is down.

Maybe we should consider the relatively destructiveness of our fitday habits...

RememberHowToSmile 03-16-2007 02:58 PM

It's back up 3 pm EST

LOL!

I feel so pathetic!

Yay! Woo!

I just made a snack and I need to go enter my calories! Plus earlier I had 8 ounces of light chocolate soy milk and fitday went down before I had a chance to enter it and it's been bugging the heck out of me!

:dizzy:

Thanks for letting us know :)

mandalinn82 03-16-2007 03:13 PM

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY :carrot:

BeezKnees 03-16-2007 03:21 PM

I'm an underestimator. I always think I have way more wiggle room (pun intended) than I actually do.

I just put my lunch in and was amazed at how much protein chicken has! I don't know why - I already knew that - but it was still a big "WOW!" to watch the pie chart change colors.

Neko 03-16-2007 04:19 PM

oh good, I'm not the only one who likes to watch the little pie chart thing change. I am normal. :D

That and I like to play around with all the reports. :o

BeezKnees 03-16-2007 04:27 PM

Oooh. Reports! I haven't played with the reports yet...

Beach Patrol 03-16-2007 04:33 PM

Heh! - I freaked a little bit this morning when I couldn't enter my food intake from last night or from today's brekkie!

But I was able to get into the "activity" section... that's so weird!!!!

Anyway, it is up now & I have entered & therefore my addiction for today is complete. :carrot:

Me too. I always check to see if I'm meeting nutritional requirements. Most days I do pretty well, also because I take a multi-vitamin, but the one nutrient I'm the most deficient in is Vitamin K.

I have no idea how to get more Vitamin K. Yes, I've looked up foods that are rich in it, but it's very FEW foods and most of which I don't eat.

:?:

I love your avatar, LOL.

Mel 03-16-2007 05:06 PM

LOL, we are all

When I saw this thread, I had to click on my fitday tab and make sure it was working so I could enter my 4 pm meal!

I don't trust most of those reports, especially the activity one. According to Fitday, I should have ceased to exist several years ago, but there is plenty of me left ;)

Addicted to Fitday? You mean like...when I tried to access it and it defaulted to the Help Contents everytime I went to the Food section so I emailed Fitday to tell them they needed to fix their site? LOL Then I went out for the day and just got back and it was working, so I entered my food in. Everything else was working it appeared, just not the food. I clicked on Activities and another tab though and they worked.

Same here. I must not like those vitamin K foods either.

Yeah, I mean, I just don't eat enough of them. Kale, greens, asparagus, yuk.

I do like spinach, but I just don't eat it enough.

mandalinn82 03-16-2007 05:18 PM

Broccoli! Spinach! Chard!

I love my leafy greens, so I get a lot of K. But deficiency of K is SOOOO rare (there are some bacteria in your intestine that produce it, although there is some debate about how much you actually absorb of that) that it pretty much appears only in very specific circumstances (like liver disease), or poisoning with rat poison.

ennay 03-16-2007 05:27 PM

How weird! I didnt remember K being on my list of things so I went...the downloaded version doesnt list Vit K in the reports!
