I'm MAD

When my baby was 3 weeks old I got professionally fitted for nursing bras. 34G

For those of you who havent been there, around 6 months regardless of whether you keep nursing or stop your boobs (when reasonably empty) are around the size they are gonna be for most women. The extra fat the body stored there during pregnancy is usually gone. (Although some women change sizes for 2 years after they stop)

Anyway, I needed new bras and went and got refitted - ds is 5 1/2 months and I have lost 34 lbs since the last fitting

dummmmmm da da dumm

I am a 34G

HOW HOW HOW did I not lose a microfraction off my chest in 34 POUNDS. I used to lose weight there first. CRUD. If I continue on losing I am gonna look like Skipper attacked barbie one night and stole her boobs

RRVMMM 03-13-2007 02:11 PM

I take it you are still nursing right? If it is any help, my chest size did not reduce until I quit nursing, not any at all. I nursed my last 3 kids and it was the same with all 3.

 Sorry- some of us look like Barbie after Skipper attacked her, or a boobless WonderWoman....It seems that no one is every happy in that department after weightloss. By the time I lost 60 pounds, I'd gone from a DD to a scant B.

See my last kid, what I was at 6 months was what I was forever...well until I got preggo again when I went up 3 sizes in the first trimester.

I would LOVE to be a B. Well, maybe a C, whatever it takes so I dont have to wear 6 sizes larger than the rest of me

Boobs? What are those? I vaguely remember.

mandalinn82 03-13-2007 03:34 PM

I'm another on team no-boobs. I am -barely- a b. Big wide shoulders, huge rib cage, giant bones, and no boobs.

Or as my mother kept saying this weekend, I have a boy body. Le sigh.

If I remember correctly my boobs stayed humongous all the while when I was nursing. Now after losing over 90 lbs, they aren't very darn big. A very padded C cup that I don't fill out the top part of. LOL.

LLV 03-13-2007 03:45 PM

I've never heard of a G-cup before, only A, B, C and D.

Where's the G-cup fit in?

ennay 03-13-2007 03:52 PM

ABCDEFG

aka DDDD

and you never heard of them because you have to go to very very expensive stores and mortgage your home to buy one single solitary bra that in 4-6 months collapses under the strain.

kelema 03-13-2007 04:15 PM

Why is no woman EVER happy with her breasts? They're either wanting bigger or smaller or perkier or firmer or whatever.

I LOVE mine, even though they're basically an A cup/hardly breasts at all. Women need to learn that they don't have to constantly hate their chests.

And if they didnt put me in daily pain, maybe I could

I don't fill out an A cup :dizzy:

(Actually, despite that I'm not that bothered. I can always make them look bigger with a bit of padding, and at least I don't get black eyes when I run. Finding a sports bra is surprisingly hard though, because they all have too much room in them)

No, I don't imagine that would be very much fun.

Don't you all complain about B's being TOO SMALL! Geez! With my starving, I've most likely ruined my chance with boobs. I couldn't fit into a b cup at my BIGGEST...AND...when I was 160 I was a BARELY A! Yes...they carry half sizes :(

When I'm 130...I guess I might as well not buy bras.

-=sighs=-

At least I save money =D!

If you are truly in daily pain and done nursing children, when you've reached your goal weight why don't you talk to your doc about a reduction? It's generally covered by insurance if you are in pain from the weight of them. I know several women in real life who've had reductions and were thrilled to fit into normal clothes, no more gaping buttons, and no more back pain!
