Gah!

so,

i dunno how many of you check the chicks in control forum, BUT...
i've been going through some really rough times recently and have been out of control binging recently.

last night i came in from the bar and shoved a whole bag of doritos, a batch of cookies and 2 sodas in my face and then went to bed.

well, because of patterns like this going on for the past week/2 weeks i have been avoiding the scale like a fiend...

well today, i looked in the mirror and felt bloated so i stepped on the scale and i went from 196 to 203!!!

*wails*

im so discouraged!

(((HUGS)))
It happens! I may not be the best person to offer advice, but don't beat yourself up over it. And hey, at least you know where it came from! It's not like you thought you were on plan for two weeks and it's really a shock. You've lost a lot of weight already, and while this is a minor setback, it's just that: A MINOR setback!

Oh, also, don't forget that if you were drinking, you're also retaining lots of water!

You said the answer - you felt bloated! That alone adds 3-4 pounds!! Drink lots of water and get back on plan and the weight will be gone in NO time!

 You can do this, just get back on track and you'll be fine.

I read your threads in the other forum.. I'm sorry you're going through a hard time  I want to let you know that you're not alone and you CAN overcome this. Hang in there Kate! Alcohol plus chips = well alcohol plus salt = retention.. drink plenty of water and give it a few days. Whatever happens, you can handle it! And we'll be here ;)

Drinking alcohol not only adds empty calories, but it also lowers normal inhibitions about all kind of behavior, including eating. Well, you had your fun! Let it end there. Stop now! You said past week/2weeks, that's enough. Stop now! You know that's the answer. You can do this, and you want to do it. Really, you do. Maybe ease up on the drinking--it seems to get you into food trouble.
