My January Goal!

  • OKay, I am getting my butt in gear,and I have told myself in no uncertain terms that this is THE YEAR. The year when I find that healthy, slender woman I know is inside of me, the happy woman that my husband fell in love with, the woman that somehow got trapped inside 65 pounds of extra weight. This is the year when I throw away all my "fat" clothes for good. I spent all day yesterday getting ready for this year...I printed out monthly calendars on which I wrote down my exercise schedule and goals. For the month of January I'm not only attending Curves every day, but I am walking and riding my bike. I am starting with a 3 mile walk and by the end of the month I plan to have worked myself upt to a 5 mile walk,I am starting with a 5 mile bike ride and plan on working myself up to 8 miles by the end of the month. I am aiming at losing AT LEAST 10 pounds by January 31. This is also the month when I kick my soda habit.

  • Bravo! Looks like I won’t be going it alone either. I'll be right beside you with the same positive attitude and have mirrored much of your prep work. I also made my closet a target and have set up many small goals over the next few weeks to keep my motivation up. My journal is now set up and my calendars for exercise placed in the inside door of my kitchen cabinet. I’d also like to lose at least 10 pounds by January 31st. This is my first post and I actually feel something I’ve never felt before in starting such a regime. Excitement – what an interesting feeling it is! Woo-hoo!!
