meat addiction?

A while back i stumbled across a fruitarian website that had many articles. One of these articles was about how meat has these..."properties", or something of that nature, that gets people addictive to meat. Ive been a vegetarian for a few years now and have never heard/read anything like this until then. Have any of you? If so, can you tell me where at?

Never heard of that either. :shrug: Mind you I am sure you can get addicted to anything if you eat it constantly. A friend of mine recently went through pineapple withdrawl :lol:

Perhaps the body just craves the iron and protein that meat provides?

There is an additive that is given to animals in their grain, but I totally forget what it is.
