Living Green

Does anyone have any products they can recommend that are eco-friendly? - for instance cleaning products and beauty products.

Have any of you used the new paints that are available?

I am trying to make my home less toxic and use more "green" products and more organic products.

I don't know if you have a Whole Foods in your area, but they have a ton of eco-friendly stuff that really works too. They have everything from floor cleaner to laundry detergent. The laundry detergent is really cool. It is all plant and vegatable based.

Apparently one of the Herbal Essences shampoos is vegan.

Also, check out the organic/health food section at Cub or another grocery chain.

Mauvais : you might try googling for homemade recipes. I have started making some of my own "cleaning supplies" to cut cost and there are a ton of easy to make "earth friendly" recipes out there.
