...First fish for five years D:
Hey~
This is just a rant kind of thing because I need to get my thoughts out; With the exception of one meal in Gambia (africa) I hadn't eaten fish in four/five years as I became a vegetarian all that time ago. I'm planning on being in Japan after university, and living there for a while; it's all very much fish based, so I decided to start easing into the occasional fish. So today, I ate some shrimps, and I feel so...I don't know, lost? Like part of my identity is gone? Do I want to go out of my way to eat fish? Not really. Until I have to. So if I eat fish every once in a blue moon what am I? I'm still not going meat, just no, but...I feel like my identity and my morals have stooped... Urgh, can anyone relate? |
Well it depends if you really want a title or not :) You could call yourself a pescatarian and I still think that would fit. Otherwise, do you really need a title?

I personally don't feel like morals have anything to do with choosing to be a vegetarian or not. I'm not a vegetarian and my morals are excellent. Don't fret too much on this. Do what you have to do.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Soon you may even get use to it and it'll be "normal" in a way. |
