Veg Friendly Running Shoes

Hey Veggies! :carrot:

I was just reading a thread about insoles and it made me think, "I gotta ask those chicks about shoes!" :) So yeah, I need some pretty good arch support as I walk dogs all day and then work out. I had a pair of Montrails that were super comfy, but the either the quality wasn't all that great or I was just too hard on 'em. What running shoes would you recommend? Thanks! :D

New Balance makes a good shoe. I have NB #767, which is a running shoe and totally animal free. I think they run around $100, but they're worth it!
Pangea sells them, but I got mine at a sporting goods store. Zappos sells them too.

Thanks girlie! :) I was on Pangea's site last night drooling over all their sweets...chocolate covered marshmallows?! :dizzy: So not fair! lol The prices of their shoes weren't too bad either. ;)

I second New Balance. I won a free pair in a drawing at a 5k last spring and now they're all I plan to ever buy. Plus they have a lot of leather free options!

I do have a pair of NB 607 right now, but the support and cushion leaves something to be desired. There are so many different styles/comfort levels that I'm sure I'll find something that works...hopefully soon. ;) Do you ladies use insoles at all?

No insoles, but moisture wicking sox are a must!
