Hi! I'm Samantha. I have been playing around with a vegan diet for two years. Last month, I went cold turkey in one day and feel absolutely fabulous!! I am following the Eat to Live diet by Joel Fuhrman and have lost 10 lbs so far. I am amazed at how much better I can feel in a month.

I get a lot of flack from family and friends, but I'm committed. The more that I read and research, the more convinced I am that this is the way for me to live.

I have been hanging around in the 100 club, but wanted to come here and meet others on a veg or vegan diet. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for those of you that have eaten this way for a long time.

blessings,
Samantha

Congrats on the weight loss and your choice to eat vegan! I have been vegan for many years and would love to help out if you need it

This place is already inspiring me enough to go for the vegan way too. But then expense matters most to me as my earnings have depreciated a lot in the recent times therefore I made a calculation where I saw the vegan diet to be more expensive compared to the others. This means I still cant afford it! But then do tell me will I gain nothing until I switch to this form of food completely?

I have lots of helpful links and ways to eat vegan affordably if you need help! Few things cost less than rice, beans, seasonal or frozen veggies and the like, so perhaps there is a way!

Hi Samantha -

I read Eat to Live and I am following that plan, as well. I sure feel better following it!

Soulbliss - thanks for the links. They were very helpful!
