Hi, would anyone be up for a UK fat chicks meet up?

That was the second attempt, a few of us tried one last year, I got to meet YP1!!!! And look where that lead!!! Running indeed!

If someone else organises it, I will turn up if I'm free!

I'd meet up if I am free, but my working hours are all over the place so if you plan it and I can make it I'll be there.

Not only did we meet - we chased each other for 10Km and loved it so much we're going to chase each other round 13.2 miles in Amsterdam! :lol: Actually more Helen being chased by me and Kylie! :chin: Maybe she was running away from us... :dz:

I just read post before and maybe if you split it in to sections of north and south then u could have 2 different. Just an idea

What we did last time was have a poll, and people voted on the area. We got lots of interest and then it didn't happen. I would say if three or four of us could agree on a time and a place, and then just invite people. If you wait for us all to agree on a time and place, we could all be at goal weight by then!!!!!!!

Amsterdam half marathon is still accepting entries apparently ;)

I was one of the ones that was going to meet up but was totally skinto at the time.
 

I do feel very guilty and did apologise to the poor lady who was waiting but in actual fact I don't think it had been totally confirmed.

I would be interested in meeting up again. Keep me posted. Not for a run though!!!:D

I think we are all spread out a bit. Do we know where we all are? I'm about 10 miles outside of Doncaster. I'd like to meet up but, like Peacock, not for a run!

I am London based but prob would not mind a trip out of the centre of the universe (lol!) if given enough directions (I am not too good otherwise).

One thing to avoid is telling every one to meet at a rail stn whcih is crowded or if there are 2 ways in and out of a place or several WH SMiths etc etc

It wud be gr8 to meet up!! esp with ppl living close to me, which wud be LEEDS !!! well in 2 weeks time

I'd be happy to meet up if it's not a zillion miles away. London would be too far for me, but I suppose we could have 2 meets? A nothern one and a southern one?

I am open to most things (Oh! That did not sound good!!). I don't mind abit of travelling. As long as it is obvious wher ewe are meeting up.

Who was it on the froum that tried to get this up and running before and then was let down . i would like her to come along and see that we can get organised!

I'd be up for a meet. I'd prefer to have something in London as my budget doesn't stretch to going far at the moment, but apart from that I'm pretty flexible.

treezuk - I'm in Kensington at the moment (we move East the end of next month) but if you wanted to meet up or something before then I'm happy to jump on the tube.

Vix - when you say you are moving East at the end of the Month - where do you mean? East London, East of England???
