So, tomorrow is Monday and the first day of my cut back. No more fat coke and sweets, takeaways etc. I'm actually looking forward to it. I want to be able to wear nicer clothes and feel comfortable. i want to be able to sit in the bath, empty it and not have the end behind me still full up lol. I dont want to be 200lbs+ . I want to be 150 in my ideal world.

Hiya kykaree, Thanx for thinking of me today. Ok I'm doing ok actually. Had a banana and some strawberries for brekkie. A slice of toast with 1/4 tin of baked beanies and a rich tea biccie for lunch. In the end I threw all the goodies in the bin, hubby didnt want them. For my tea I'm just gonna have a frommie frais. Have been drinking water which I dont do, I cant believe how sick it makes me feel. 1 glass, I struggle to finish it, then I feel full and bloated urgh. Might do me a favour in the dimply skin dept tho eh?? I'm just off to read your blog.

Laura, forgive me for butting in, but I really would recommend that you eat more than that. Some fruit, 1 slice of toast with beans and a yoghurt just isn't a diet that you'll be able to sustain long term. However tempting it seems at the time to cut down your food as much as you can, the most important thing is to learn to eat decent quantities of healthy food, and to make sure that your body gets the nutrition it deserves. If you feed and nurture it properly, it will pay you back.
The whole foods/superfoods threads that Kylie suggested are a good place to start. Don't feel like you have to change your way of eating overnight, making small changes is perfectly fine, but long term it's more sustainable, in my opinion. Again, apologies for butting in, but I want to help you succeed, and depriving yourself of nutrition will only usually lead to one thing - a binge when you're hungry and losing the will to go on. |

Thanx to yp1 for ur advice, your far from butting in and since that last post I had some oven chips and a small burger (no bread bun and cooked in oven) I must say today I dont feel hungry but I have just finished my monthly so watch this space next week lol

It wouldnt be so bad if you were'nt nearly my goal weight before you started lol. 133 would make me................sexy. I wanna hit 168 so thats roughly 12stone. OK - you CAN do it. I have lost almost what you want to lose and I started back in January - so it's taken me eight months. Just think, if you start now, you can be there by next April!!

I have to say Xena you sound soooooooo much like me its unreal!!! I'm a pretty mean cook and dont do salads! I hate waste when theres so many out there starving, but in saying that I cant think of them to help me lose weight.
When I was 17 I weighed 8 stone 8, I measured 34-23-34, OMG. I was an 8-10 (thats one of my lard arse thighs now) I met my hubs and we not only are growing older, weve both expanded (which dont make me feel so bad) When I was 21 I weighed 12 stone and now weigh 16. Im literally double what I used to be. I would love to get to 10 stone, hopefully when I get down to 12 I may re think and go for gold, but even 13 stone seems unobtainable. Its not I know which is why I need tons of support and is why every post u look at u will see me ha ha ha. I love ppl and I love chatting. Hope to hear from u soon. xx |
