I've got about 5 and a half stone to lose. I would love to be at target by NYE. I am doing cambridge at the moment, but went off it last week (basically binged for 6 days....) and I will have put a good few pounds on because of it. It is difficult getting this weight off, but it is now or never as the song goes!

Well, it's taken me 8 months to do nearly 3... and I was loosing serious amounts at times. Now it's all slowed down. I have about 8 or 9 stone more to lose.

This time last year I weighed about 18st and this morning I weighed in at 12st 13lbs. Its seemed slow and I know I could have done it faster if I'd dieted in the way I used to, but I've chosen the healthy way this time. Sometimes slow is good.

If anyone is feeling like its an impossible task then, for some motivation and inspirational BIG weight losers, take a look at Helen's Blog (aka YP1) at http://www.ypweightloss.blogspot.com/ (she's lost over 100lbs and ran 20 miles today) or look at http://www.dietgirl.org/dietgirl/index.html which is Diet Girl's Blog - she's lost 175 pounds.

We also used to have a woman called Ally (her id on 3FC was Posy) post here who also lost an amazing amount of weight and kept an on-line journal all the way through - her story is here http://www.angelfire.com/al3/hillaryandali/alisdj.html

These blogs really do make you feel that ANYTHING is possible - given time.

I've got 4 stone to lose...I'd like to lose at least 2 of those by my birthday (20th Dec) but more if possible.
