Sorry I'm late, but well done!!!!!!

I'm still obese, but at least I'm just plain obese, not morbid anymore! :D

I seem to have hovered at BMI 30 for ages. I never thought I'd ever celebrate being OVERWEIGHT but I feel like having a party!

'Just' another 28 pounds / 2 stone / 12.7kg to go until I'm 'normal' (although my DH would dispute that I will ever be normal.)

:^: hi ladies, congratulations sarah, i hope i can also have some good results like you did. im kinda new here guys, not really good in connecting to people so please bare with. :^:

:( being fat is not just my problem, also hair loss.:?:

Congrats! 2 stone to go - wow!

Airen - what is this about hair loss? Are you ill or stressed or pregnant???

Sarah Ann 08-15-2006 04:27 AM

Thanks for your good wishes, Airen  - have you thought about having a thyroid test. Hair loss and weight problems can often mean an underactive thyroid.

PhatPhoenix 08-15-2006 09:50 AM

Airen could also be PCOS. That makes weight loss three times harder too, according to research - I have had it since I was 16, diagnosed at 30.

Sarah - what's your next goal now you've broke that all important barrier? I'm still technically 'overweight' (by 2-4lbs depending on time of the month) but it's just not shifting at all. I've pretty well given up on it, now. I'd like to have at least got down to a 'normal' weight, so frustrating to stick at a couple of pounds above, but there you go.... I made my goals small ones, half a stone or 10lbs at a time. I started at almost 14 stone this time last year. I've just noticed we're the same height - tell you something, once you get down to 12st and just below, you will feel incredibly different, whatever the scales say, your dress size will be about where you're starting to feel great - so keep going, you!)
