S/C/G: SW:226/16st - about 50lbs lost

Height: 5'8"

Default

Between going to the Dr's and WW - I guess you ate lunch right?

That 2lbs difference could be the lunch you ate or the water you drank... Don't feel bad, take one scale and stick with that - it's the difference in the readings on the same scale that counts - you're following the trends, not the numbers!

Personally I don't take any notice of the Dr's scales since I am usually wearing different clothes and have eaten different things before I go see them. I only register my weight first thing, starkers and "empty"

Your right I know.....

I get so caught up in the .."have I lost this week" that I get all mad looking for the lighter scales.
Trouble being that i weigh at night at WW and of course we`re all heavier at night.
Saying that, my scales at home weigh the same as WW scales any how so maybe I`ll weigh on a Thursday am at home and as you said..empty and starkers.
O.K so back to the drawing board as far as getting weighed goes. Fresh start with sticking to one set of scales.
i`ve mowed the lawn so now I feel that I`ve earned my tea! Chicken breast with veg..new pots..and white wine sauce..(not too much sauce though!) and then maybe an hour on the air walker.
Fingers crossed for a weekend of not too much indulgence!

Yay!!! 3lbs gone! Its nice to see a change on the scales - even though it was probably the tummy bug which did most of the 'work'. Thats probably my entire weight loss for August. Ah well....

Kim - I'm the same as Frus, weigh myself first thing on Saturday and starkers. Last time I went to the doctors I weighed 4 pounds more than my Saturday morning weight - but that was after breakfast and fully dressed.

3lbs is 3lbs...tummy bug or not!
Any weight loss is a boost to keep you going for another week. Well done you!
I feel crud. Have temperature and aching joints. Maybe I won`t do too much today.
Maybe have been over doing it a bit lately.
Never mind back to it...now what to have for dinner????

Don't want to worry you... but thats how my tummy bug started off last Monday - the tummy side of things kicked in on Tuesday.

Pros and cons of a tummy bug!!!
pros:
a) I could easily lose 3lbs in a few days.
b) my appetite would surely go for a while
c) I could do with a bit of a detox any how
cons:
a) My fat back side would be stuck out as my head was down the toilet
b) My bathroom is downstairs so constant up and down the stairs (mind you that could be classed as excercise!)
c) my household would grind to a halt with my hubby in charge

Verdict:
Stock up anti diarrea pills and ginger biccys and keep my fingers crossed that instead of a tummy bug I just have a good dieting weekend!

I haven't weighed myself since mid-June because my scale broke. Got a new one today and it says I'm 114kg! I also noticed that my tummy doesn't poke out as much as it used to, so I'm well chuffed!

Kim, then you need to lie on the sofa downstairs - that sorts out b) and c) - but won't sort out a), though and you get lots more sympathy if you plonk yourself where everyone can see you all the time.

Monday morning is my weigh in time (keeps me on the straight and narrow at the weekend). 3lbs down this week. I started the diet 4 weeks ago today having given birth the Friday before (so little Lucy is a month old today. ). I hadn't dared to weigh myself throughout the pregnancy. That's 18lbs lost in 4 weeks which is fab but cheating somewhat as lots is pregnancy water weight. Now the hard work really starts!

Actually not feeling too bad today.. Did lots of oooing and ahhhing and wailing but to no avail!
my hubby just came and said what`s for tea!!
Ate a vvvvv.large piece of wheat free cake today too..would be rude not too when someone makes the effort to make it special.
Will have to do much more excercise this week to compensate!!!
Roll on Thursday am to see the damage on the scales

The scales are showing ten stone 3 this morning. Which is very strange
since I have eaten lots since Friday. I will most definitely exercise today.

I need to sort out this last ten pounds. Its as hard as facing the five stone
I started out needing to lose.

11st 2 today. Been the same for 2 weeks now. I know that it is normal to get stuck, but it still stinks, particularly as I'm really hungry all the time at the moment. I just want to EAT!
