Default Interesting web site for those in to Oriental food

This is the Wing Yip wesite. They have four shops in UK but you can order by mail too. I found it rather good.

We've got a Chinese supermarket not too far away but I go to the Wing Yip in Manchester whenever I can - its amazing - and I've also been to the one in Brum. If you ever get the chance to go in person then they're well worth a visit.

My nearest would I suppose be the Cricklewood one or the one near my aunt in Purley but she always moans about Purley (although I know she does go to Purley for shopping) but whenever I suggest going to Purley she claims it is too far (she lives in South Croydon!!!) , too busy and she does not like going there.

Of course there are plenty other places near me I was just googling and found the site and thought it might be of interest to anyone intersted in oriental cuisine - especially those without any decent shops near them.

Oh, I love their Birmingham store - I go every time I visit my folks in Brum. Didn't know you could buy online though...

I've not been to the Manchester one for yonks, it's fantastic, and the restaurant is meant to be good too - doubt it's GI friendly though!!!

Thanks for the link - I don't have a chinese store near me so that is very useful!
