The Easter Bunny bought me a beautiful handmade egg in dark chocolate, with white chocolate marbling on it. It's still on the shelf. I think the Easter Bunny and I will share it after tea!!! Spaghetti bolognaise tonight. Yum yum!!!

I accidentally had a creme egg on the way home from the pool. :D

he-he-he

Why don't they make easter egg size cadbury's cream eggs - I'd probably die but I'd be really happy :barf:

Sarah Ann 04-16-2006 03:11 PM

I don't like choccie so my Easter Bunny bought me a huge bunch of creamy white flowers with some very dark red roses mixed in - and a load of fresh strawberries.

(He said he thought about buying me some protein bars but decided they weren't 'Easter-y' enough.)

Janie Jane 04-16-2006 03:18 PM

They sound boooootiful :val3:

I've had one teeny nestle double cream egg that cost 10p at home bargains :p it was lovely. :T I may go wild and get another one tomorrow. ;)

I did think about having a hot cross bun but I'm on such a roll with this way of eating that I didn't want to run the risk of bingeing. I know from previous experience that I can fall in to a binge even just eating something plain like a hot cross bun - pathetic isn't it? I have NO self control - I can't just eat one of something, I have to eat the whole packet. :(

kykaree 04-17-2006 04:00 AM

Speaking of choccie, I noticed at ASDA the other day that Rosemary Conley does a strawberry mousse. I haven't tried it though.

The flowers sound gorgeous!!! I wish my hubby bought me flowers :(

I can eat stuff without bingeing now, as long as I plan it. Yesterday i was a bit lonely and bored, so I went for a walk before I ate anything. Then I came home and it was time for lunch, so crisis averted. I have to really think about my mood now before I eat anything.

I'm off to Body Combat this morning. I am a bit nervous about it, but it's a full class, and I can always hide at the back!!!

Dippy Chip 04-17-2006 04:01 AM

Sarah - knowing that about yourself, you're doing the right thing by avoiding them completely. Well done you!

Luckily I can show willpower round sweet things so I had a low fat hot cross bun and 5g of proper butter and it was yummy, but then I didn't need another one. If it had been Kettles crisps though, I'd have had to avoid them like the plague...I can easily devour a whole (family sized) bag :o  :ink:

Kylie - you and I were posting at the same time! Good luck at Body Combat - I'm sure you'll be fine!

Good morning to you all

I am in much better form today in fact I've just had some choccy which I thoroughly enjoyed. Last night I went to see a friend of mine and she had bought me a dark choccy Lindt Rabbit it has a little bell round its neck. The only thing is it reminds me of my darling rabbit Kerry!!!

What is body combat kykaree? You all seem to do way more exercise than I
do. Although last night I went for a bit of a run as again I couldn't get to the gym.

What a blessing Sarah not to like choccy. The only time I couldn't eat choccy
was when I was pregnant. In fact it was the only time I completely went off food. Your flowers sound gorgeous.

I'm just waiting for my husband to get back from the shops he is going to make me poached egg on toast. I have decided to forgive him for eating my choc, as thats the kind of girl I am. Mind you I think what he did was grounds for divorce!!

Have a good day everyone

I suppose I am lucky not to particularly like chocolate (especially at this time of the year). I do eat it but only if someone buys it for me as a present - its not something I've ever bought for myself. The taste is okay-ish but I don't like the texture or the way it coats the inside of my mouth.

I don't even like crisps (I can't remember the last time I ate crisps!) My biggest challenge is fresh bread products like that cheese topped bread or doughnuts - or just bread itself and  :T cheese. :cheese: I do have cheese but I strictly limit myself to 3 ounces a week. Sad................. :(

Sarah Ann 04-17-2006 06:31 AM

Michele - I'm glad you got some chocolate at last. You've worked hard for it! :)

Kylie - You're going to have to let us all know what body combat is - it sounds very painful! I have this mental Terminator image about it. :?:

Dippy - Well done on that willpower - could you send a little this way, please.

It was cardio for me this morning - 20 long minutes of HIIT on the exercise bike (I hit two 10s) followed by 90 minutes walk with the dogs - it was lovely and sunny when I left home so I didn't think to take waterproofs with me - I came back early soaked completely through, and I do mean COMPLETELY through! :lol3:

veggie 04-17-2006 08:58 AM

Stop mentioning crisps.

Sarah Ann 04-17-2006 09:33 AM

Alright then - deep fried thin slices of potato smothered in flavoured salt - better??

I went right off of crisps when I went out (briefly) with someone who worked as a crisp flavour inventer (don't know what the real job title would be) - and he always smelled funny. I can remember one time when he was working on a more authentic prawn cocktail flavouring and we went to the pictures, he was so pongy that the couple in front of us upped and moved because of the strange smell. Shame really, he was a very nice bloke otherwise.
