I think there may be 1 child, perhaps 2 but I bet their parents will get a babysitter for them. There's an 11/12 year old bridesmaid, she should be ok ;)
If we get helium balloons, I'm going to take a book on how many people get mysterious "squeeky voices"... :chin:  |
Thats outrageous! Go and investigate some pubs near Millwall - my parents just put money behind the bar (run by the Landlord) and he didn't mind that we brought our own wine and champagne with us. Mind you, in those days pubs didn't serve wine like they do now - and I can't begin to imagine what would have been said had I asked the Millwall landlord to supply the champagne. Brings back nice memories this... my uncle worked for a vintners and got all my champagne and wine at cost as our present - and my Mum's best friend worked in a bakers and made my cake for me, also as a present. It really was a very cheap wedding.
Shame the groom was an idiot! |
A friend of mine married a Hungarian chap, and everyone brings cake to the wedding, which is nice. And at the end you have to dance with everyone, and they pin money on your dress for the privelege!!! My friend had enough for a deposit on a posh house!!!

 Ah you can't have it all ways!
We're going to get our cake made by a friend, we're buying our wine and champers at the place, approx £30 a bottle for champers. I will make the gingerbread men ;) I like that idea about pinning money... Yes... That'll do nicely thank you! Did either of you have wedding lists, where you ask for specific presents??? We don't want one of those, we don't really need anything buying for the house or anything... I don't know what to do if people ask us what we want! |
