NO HAPPY FACE

Look at it as an overall month loss if you lose 4 in a month that is good. Ignore all that I lost a hundred pound in a week rubbish on celeb fit club.

I demand a happy face! :D :D :D :D

There are some of us who are happy with a pound a month! YOU STILL LOST even though you went up a pound this week. It's just a blip, it will come back off next week.

It may be water retention, are you eating clean enough? How many processed foods do you eat? Are you drinking plenty of water? For one thing I'm sure it isn't a whoe pound of fat that just jumped on! ;)

Could be water retention - I don't lose an ounce no matter how hard I work on it a good 2-3 weeks before my time of the month (or century, in my case!) But the extra comes off in its own time.

I know having targets can motivate, but I think there's a downside to them, too... a big danger of a target turning into a negative thing - your body will only lose weight at its own pace and if you try to force it to fit a schedule (for a holiday, or wedding or whatever), you're probably going to get despondent and give up, if it won't come off 'as planned'. Be kinder to yourself - so long as it does come off, and you get healthier, that's all well and good! You didn't put the weight on in a week, (or couple of months, probably!), and losing it is far harder than gaining it so it may take longer. Then again, it might not!

I've lost nothing, nada, not a sausage for 5 weeks despite putting my heart and soul into it constantly - then just lost 2lb in 2 days. When I started out in July last year I thought if I just lost 2lb a week (not much to ask, surely?) then I'd have the whole lot off by October/Novemeber. And here I am in February, still chipping away at it. And I no longer care! I'm enjoying being fitter. I think a lot of us who have had a lot of setbacks are the same..?

Maybe if you can enjoy the journey rather than focus too much on the destination, you'll be more likely to get there!
