Is this not just a little obsessive!

Bloomin' heck! You must be starving!

Have you thought about swapping some of your higher cal items for foods with more bulk. 525 cals on OJ, sausage roll and nuts isn't enough bulk to feel satisfied on and you are going to feel very hungry.

 I agree

Try porridge for breakfast, with a banana, then fruit and 1oz nuts for a snack, lunch can be a chicken salad on whole wheat bread or whole wheat pita, snack on more fruit and perhaps some cheese (1oz) and oat cakes and for dinner some lean meat and plenty of veg and a little carb (potato/corn/brown rice).

Then you will be full and satisfied and healthy AND lose weight

Have you tried logging what you eat somewhere like Fitday
... or better still: at nutritiondata.com

Both are free and they will add up the cals for you, and also break down %s protein, etc.

Maybe that was part of a day's worth, or summat, but if not - it's unlikely you could lose (or sustain if you did) eating so little. Maybe you need to know your Basal Metabolic Rate, find it in the tools of most weight loss sites.

Then make sure you NEVER eat below that # in calories, rarely over it.

Tracking what you eat on a site like FitDay or nutritiondata means you learn to substitute healthier choices (255 cal on a sausage roll? is that really a good idea!?!) At first you have to feed in a lot of custom foods - as they are not built for people in the UK - but after a while it's fast to use.

I think you need to eat more and check out nutritiondata's healthy choices diet - costs nothing - and for everyting you think of eating, it will suggest healthier alternatives in order for you to make changes more easily.

I was thinking of you!

Try the journals here I keep a food log on them although i havent added for two days. I'm home and the amount my aunt feeds me is enough to add millions of cals.

I had a doughnut yesterday and a piece of gateau and 2 cookies today oops.

Not to destroy your confidence in what you eat but...

1 white bread-104cal - thought about going for wholemeal its not only healthier but it fills you up alot more.

sausage roll- thought about trying a healthy alternative, pastry isnt too good. If you like sausage rolls you could try the vegetarian ones linda mccartney do veggie ones that taste like meat and are a lot lower in cals than normal saus rolls

20 pistacios-100cal - nuts are good for you as they are healthy fats but pistachios aren't the best nuts you could eat. have you tried snacking on something like sunflower or pumpkin seeds you can get them from holland and barrats.

100g bio live yogurt-101cal - try yeo valley fat free flavoured yogurts. They are bio live too but really low in cals and taste really creamy.

Just suggestions anyway.

Impossible Princess - thanks for the tip about the journals, I've just been to have a look and I think I'll try keeping one starting tomorrow!
