2frustrated 08-22-2005 01:57 PM

Excellent (In a Mr Burns type way...)

I'm sure the ones I make are choc full of syrup :T :T They're be-ro gingerbread men! I shall have to search and have a good old experiment!

cat90 08-22-2005 01:57 PM

Oooh :hyper: I've found a recipe for Ginger cookies and they're 1pt/46cals each :hyper: there is molasses in this recipe..just a 1/4 cup though ;) and 1g protein in every cookie so they're not so bad right now ;)

2frustrated 08-22-2005 01:58 PM

Oooh Maz, quick, watch Super Size ME! Or play the song...!

Go and beat the heck outta sommat!

2frustrated 08-22-2005 02:01 PM

cat90 08-22-2005 02:03 PM

Gosh..I have so many yummy recipes in this file :T I don't know why I ever quit doing W.W. ( :sssh: I do really I got too lazy to go to the trouble of baking  )

Never mind Maz :grouphug: at least you were good  and went to the gym :cp:

cat90 08-22-2005 02:17 PM

I've sent the recipe Frus ;) so start experimenting  btw who is Mr Burns? :dunno:

2frustrated 08-22-2005 02:19 PM

The old old guy in the Simpsons...

He says Eeeeeeeeexcellent and twiddles his fingers together!

Off to cook for him indoors if he gets his butt home!

cat90 08-22-2005 02:51 PM

 Now I know who he is :)

I'm absolutely stuffed. A lovely three course meal at the nicest Greek restaurant this side of Greece. I'm just not used to eating that amount.

Although I'm quite pleased with my choices. I had a spinach and feta pie for main course and a slice of cheesecake with a huge heap of berries on the side for dessert, so at least I got my fruit and veg portions.

Not that I'm necessarily as pleased about the beer and ouzo...

I think I'll need a long run in the morning though.

kykaree 08-22-2005 05:21 PM

Ah well, at least we were relatively virtuous on Saturday, we even walked right past the chocolate shop!!!!

I have ahd a good day today, even did a walk at lunch. I am getting sick of training, am sitting in a class room looking at a computer all day, and it's getting a bit boring. Can't wait for the real work to start next week!

I miss baking, I used to do so much of it. I can't even do healthy baking, because I have no will power. My theory is if it ain't in the house, I can't eat it!

cat90 08-22-2005 05:44 PM

Thats a good theory ;) if I lived on my own I think i'd practice it  i'd only buy lowcal/fat treats :) i'm sure it would work especially when a binge is on the horizon :corn: thats the reason I don't bake very much :dunno: because I have no control and even low cal biscuits make you fat if you eat enough of them  good job hubby vacuums everything up without worrying about it  but on the downside everything goes in one foul swoop and then i'm :censored: off because of all the trouble I went to and there is none left :yikes:

One for Kylie - I found the Levis in Debenhams, they were tucked away in the middle of the John Rocha stuff.

Anyway, they fastened, although they were a bit tighter than I'd have liked them, and there was a distinct roll-over at the top. They were also a bit more expensive than I'd have liked them, and they're still in the shop :)

cat90 08-23-2005 06:49 PM

Don't all jeans have a definite roll-over at the top? I know mine do :rollpin: ahh well it will be nice when we need belts to keep them up

By 'eck its quiet around here :listen: where's Frus? making gingerbread men? :T
I made a Lancashire Hotpot today :T with a fattening crust on top  had some for my lunch so I went on my :tread: for an hour just now in the hopes of burning some off  its massive :yikes: made it for the lads at the workshop but they'd all gone out so me and hubby will be eating it tonight and perhaps tomorrow too
off for a shower now and then for a spin on my :scooter:
