I normally end up wearing a gilet. But a nice one honest. :p

I'm back from Brighton, I'm forty, but I'm THINNER than when I went away :goodscale ! Yay me! :cheer:

I tried to make healthy choices when I ate out, and avoided dessert and alcohol apart from on my actual birthday proper, and I got plenty of exercise trekking up the hills of Brighton and Arundel.........and I've lost 1.5lbs!

I'm right chuffed! :D

Its good to be home, though - I missed my little routines! I'm not what you'd call a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants-girl.......I prefer continuity and routine, otherwise I feel bewildered and out-of-control and go a bit doo-lally :dizzy:  . Kim's promised to loosen the straps on my strait-jacket later though, so that I can do some bouncing!!

Kind regards, Janey ;)

Hi Dippy, nice to have you back. Well done you, you see being 40 isn't so bad, keep losing the weight & you'll disappear by the time you're 41. ;)

Take care
x

Hi All
Well I am afraid the official scales at WW say I have stayed the same this week. I wieghed myself this morning and was down 2lbs so was a bit dissapointed to see no loss tonight. I got on my scales again when I got home and they agreed with the WW ones so there you go. I normaly weigh less in the evening but I have been taking some pain killers today.
Will keep on trying to lose.
Well done Janey, we had a weekend away and also stuck to the diet, steak, steak and more steak :D

I will have to go for a curry every Saturday, because I have somehow managed to lose 2.5 lbs this week. I have been trying to make a tracker. I will check see if I,ve managed after this post.

Well I'm up for the challenge. I graduated last year and wish that I had seen this site in the run up for that.

I'm going on holiday in 3 weeks :) hill climbing in the lake district. Me and 20 friends have rented a house on the bamks of lake windemere! I cant wait. Lots of alcohol though if I know my friends. But I'm hoping the climbing up hills will work off those shots :D

Have a lovely weekend everyone
Cat x

I was going to say something about my week - but Toots is singing......

Dippy Chip 05-29-2005 12:23 PM

Toots, you have a lovely singing voice  !

Cat, your holiday sounds great - I love the Lake District! After a hard day's fell walking you can afford to loosen off the diet a little - forget the calories and try shots of Butterscotch Schnapps - it sounds disgusting but it's delicious :T :T :T !!

Janey ;)

WOooo! Hill walking and butterscotch schnapps! Yummy! My 'rents live by the seaside, oooh and Dom's 'rents too. I guess we will be going to Cornwall and Yorkshire this summer! We have to try and get both sets of rents to meet as well! not easy when they're at polar opposite ends of the country!

My grand graduation exercise push starts tomorrow!

cat90 05-30-2005 12:42 PM
