Anyone Tried Hypnosis?

Another weird question but have any of you tried hypnosis to help you lose weight? I'm quite interested as I have a few specific downfall areas - crisps and alcohol (takeaways also but there is no way they are going!)

I have tried hypnosis in the form of a Paul McKenna Easy Weight Loss CD. Not sure it did any good though - lol.

Yep, I did.
It was interesting but didn't help with weight loss, although it certainly made me realise that my problem was more about why I eat than what I eat. I imagine it might well work for someone who doesn't have as many hangups as me.
I would go back & do it again if I could still afford it, but without the same expectations.

Just as a lead on from what you wrote, although it is not the source of my problem, I do find that if I get emotional I eat comfort foods and too much of them. What is the best way you have found to deal with comfort food cravings?

Honestly I have only two methods, both of which work sometimes but not all the time (or I wouldn't be wearing these trousers).
1-Low carb (it help me as my comfort foods are all starchy or sugary) which helps with the cravings.
2-Go out somewhere there is no food. Mainly the gym or the beach. I never think about food if I'm exercising.
