HI all, Hot and muggy here, am sweating doing housework. Didn't have a good day yesterday point wise. I bought some trail mix on Friday night, you know dried fruit, nuts and such, very yummy. Well ate half a bag trough the day yesterday and then realised that a serving was a 1/3 of a cup at three points, the whole bag held 30 servings, so I ended up eating 45 points. Plus a dinner (which was healthy). But it was Hannah's school formal last night and afterwards I dropped her frineds off at a restauant for dessert, so Dave and I went into the bar and ordered dessert for us. He had choc lover's cake, and I hade seven layer cake with coffee. Didn't eat but a quarter of it as it was huge, felt proud of that. DID have it put in a dogge bag though to bring home, BUT, sat outside waiting on Hannah and friends and it was storming and Dave put it down on the side where we waited and we both forgot it. SO THAT'S A GOOD THING, COS I WON'T BE SCOFFING IT TODAY!
Am eating super good today too. Hope you're all having a nice weekend, back to the work week tomorrow

Did anyone in UK see the Eurovision SOng COntest? I switched over to it after watching something else. NOthing has changed except of course more countries been "born" and joined this time around. The usual suspects vote for their mates but this time of course all the Balkan states (who used to be at war with each other) now voted for each other! It is one of those programmes I have to watch for amusement value! UK and Ireland didn't do very well (I think the rest of Europe is off us because of the Iraq thing - pokitics always comes into it. I forgot to check if Irelnd and France gave us any votes - they usually don't, not high ones anyway. Mind you I wasn't that fussed as ours was a nothing. I actually liked Turkey's and Ukraine's - well, at least they were lively!

I cannot remember that one but I forgot I also liked Greece's as well. I turned over to the Eurovision just when Greece were playing. When they quickly played them all back as a reminder I saw the rest and thought Albania was very stiff, but, bless them it was their first time.

I was it was very sad for Norway - only around 3 points. Strangely, the other scandi countries didn't go overboard with their votes so perhaps Norway are out of favour with them!

How are you listening to them, oh, did you video it?

We didn't see much of the "green room" activity, only that stupid bonde thing bouncing around - was she last year's winner?

I saw the end of Eurovision, the high scoring countries entertained us for 3 minutes, they sung, they danced, they wore hardly any clothes, they put on a show. We had a guy stand up with a guitar - not quite the same thing, entertaining, not as much as the others. I thought the Russian song was quite johnny rotten, obviously he is still very popular over there.....

Have eaten like a pig, cannot get into the frame of mind for more than one day at a time, not a godo state of affairs

Hi Everyone

Was totally Off Plan yesterday as it was my birthday it was also the birthday of the wife of a guy that my husband has been doing work for and we were invited over for a b-b-q at their house which is a beautiful place right on the water i've known them for 10yrs and we only discovered yesterday that we share the same birthday only shes 10 years younger than me i felt sorry for her as she never sat down once and she did'nt even get any of the delicious ice cream cake that she had as there was'nt enough to go around i offered her my piece but she would'nt have it but I DID I'd blown it with all the beers and rum and cokes that i'd had anyway so there was no point in refusing the cake was there?
To top it all, when i got home from work hubby was'nt home he'd gone out to buy me a card and a big BOX OF CHOCOLATES which i've been eating! He's gonna have to help me out with them cos they are going to ruin everything he also bought me some scratch and wins but i did'nt oh well, better luck next time. I won't be doing much today i feel
