Has Anyone Tried the Carnivore Diet? Does It Really Work for Weight Loss?

  • Hey everyone! I've been researching different approaches to weight loss and keep hearing about the carnivore diet. Has anyone here actually tried it? I'm curious if it really works or if it's just another fad.

From what I understand, it's basically just meat, eggs, and some dairy - no veggies, no fruits, no carbs at all. Sounds extreme, but some people swear by it for fat loss and mental clarity.

This Week's Meal Plan (My Experiment):
    Morning:
    • 3 scrambled eggs cooked in butter
    • 2 strips of bacon
    • Black coffee
    Lunch:
    • 1/2 lb (225g) ribeye steak
    • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • Salt to taste
    Dinner:
    • 1 lb (450g) ground beef patties
    • 2 tbsp sour cream
    • Bone broth
    Why I'm Trying This:
    1. Simplicity - no calorie counting
    2. Supposed to reduce cravings
    3. Many report fast fat loss results
Would love to hear from anyone who's done this long-term! Does it get easier? Any tips?
  • is the carnivore diet “real” for weight loss?
  • Yes, many people have tried the carnivore diet, and some report short-term weight loss, often due to water loss and the elimination of carbohydrates. However, medical professionals
  • I’ve seen mixed results with carnivore some people do lose weight fast at first, mostly because of appetite control, but long term it can be hard to sustain and not great for everyone. The simplicity is appealing, though, especially if cravings are your main issue. If you like structured experiments like this, you might also enjoy broader wellness challenges that focus on habits, not just diet I found some interesting ideas here: https://betterme.world/articles/well...allenge-ideas/. Curious to hear how you feel after a couple of weeks on it.
