    I’m new to this forum and looking for motivation.

    I have been up and down with my weight for years.
    I am now at my heaviest and recently applied to have income protection insurance, only to be told that my application has been unsuccessful because of my BMI!
    This has brought me down to an all time low.

    My husband and I have also recently decided to adopt and I’m so scared that the agency will reject me during the health check because of my weight.

    Never been on a forum before, so not sure what to expect.
    I’m looking forward to hearing everyone’s stories and tips and ideas

    What are your stats and goals ?

    Start with iliminating fizzy drinks.
    Junk food.
    Focus on basic foods.
    This is what works for me. And I'm 4+ stones down since June 30th.
    I have a primary focus of protein first then vegetables. I don't eat rice or noodles. Rarely potatoes. You can have them in small amounts but for me I wanted drastic losses slower you can have them.
    Eat 3 times a day + 2 snacks if you need it. But let the snack be some sliced meat with cheese. Or a cheese stick. Or piece of fruit.etc. I don't eat fruit really but nothing wrong with it. I eat alot of veg like spinnach.
