Hi Fiona32. I'm a stone heavier than you and but am the same height and have the same weight goal. It's such hard work especially when I look at the bigger picture - all those stones to lose! However, I was well over 18 stone when I started, so I know that I can do it. It's so SLOW though. At this rate it's going to take me a couple of years. I'd like to share ideas; chat and definitely moan - often.....if you're interested!

Hey!!

I am 28 From across the water

I started at 23.1 Stone
But I am at about 19.5 stone just now.

I am only 5ft6 but I am proportionally measured which basically means that I am much heavier than I look. At my biggest I was wearing the same size of jeans as my 17stone mum (size 22). I have rather large breasticles, so I think people always thought that the baggy tops were for them and not my tummy . So while this is all good news, It means that nearly 4 stone down, and only now do people notice .

Aim is 12stone, So I have a fair whack to go, but I don't follow any "diet" I just eat fresh and bust my butt in the gym. Started running recently Working up to being able to run a 10 min mile which might take all summer to get to that point, but I really want to be able to do that

Hi. I'm 33, 5 foot 1 and fluctuate between 11-11 and a half stone. I have large upper arms, bum, thighs and belly. I became a mum for first time 2 years ago and am pleased to say I dropped from size 18-14 in two years. Although none of that came off my breasts which are still a very comfortable and unappealing 38GG. My aim has always been to b my BIM weight of around 10 stone. In my dream world I'd love to go back to being a size 10 and B cup. Which I was for one summer 15 years ago! My problem is I hit a Plato in January this year and have since had very little control on my carb or sugar intake. Which is my weakness. I've just started up running which I hope will help but I'm also looking for support, tips and advice from women who go through the same problems.

Hi!

I am 24yo, 5ft1 and started at 12.5 stone. Now down to 10 stone, 9lbs which is still quite big for my petite frame!
I carry most of this weight on my belly and chin!
I started really well in February but after being unwell with the bug that's been going around and then having a whole week off work for holiday, my weight loss has really slowed.
Would be good to connect with others on a weight loss journey as all my friends are skinny wee things so don't have anyone in my life who really knows what it's like to be on a weight loss journey.

Hey I tried to post yesterday but my phone wouldn't let me!

I'm 25, heightest weight I've ever been but don't have any kids to have helped me get there! I'm 5'6 and weigh 206lb... I've got about 75lb to lose too so I know how daunting it feels to try and even make a dent in that number. I'm hoping that through portion control, tackling my late night and boredom binges, using the gym again and enlisting some support here ans with my boyfriend that I'll see a change soon!

Hiya!

I'm Sarah, I'm 34 and have 3 little ones (2 girls & a boy) . I'm currently 15 stone 10lbs which is mega depressing 😭 I've been messing around for years and just can't seem to stick to anything long enough to lose the weight! I'm the fattest person I know & all of my friends and work colleagues are much smaller than me! I feel like a circus freak most days.
I'd love to lose 4 stone (maybe 5?) I gut married last year and got down to 13.7 which wasn't too bad but not as much as I would have liked. Since then I've gained over 2 stone. I just want to feel good in clothes and not have to buy size 16-18's!

I'm 37 with 2 kids and also in Northern Ireland! I joined here a few years ago but never actually used the forum, and when I logged in yesterday for the first time in ages I found that when I first joined I was 30lbs less than I am now :-(

Anyway my goal is to lose about 60lbs, but I'd be happy even with 50lbs as I'm quite tall too (5'9"). Getting down to a healthy BMI (about 12 stone for me) would be a start!

Default Late to the party...

..but can I join too please? Would love some diet friends. I'm 35 and have 2 small kids. I started back on the ketogenic diet wagon 10th July this year weighing 14 stone 😶 (I'm 5'7"). Two close spaced pregnancies and their resulting license to shovel in sugar by the pound (in my mind anyway) ended my bikini days earlier than I ever thought possible. Since then I have got down to 12st 8lb but have been at a plateau for 3 weeks now and need some support. My fighting weight was always 10 stone but would be super happy with 11...if I ever get off this darned plateau... Looking for friends to see me through 🖑

Hi bubllegumxx, nice to see a fellow newbie on here
Hoping we can motivate each other now. How are you losing weight? Are you following any particular plan?
