Newbie... help with realistic goals please!

:)

Hi all, total newbie to weight loss forums. I had my baby 6 months ago, I put on 3 stone  I lost 2 stone already, and I actually want another 2.5 stone off so I'm even lighter than pre-pregnancy. I'm on diet chef so meals sent to my door so calories wise I'm 1200-1400 per day. Now it's time to introduce fitness so I've joined the gym, looking to do 3 classes per week (spin, circuit and insanity) and want to lose at least a stone by Xmas (preferably 1.5) is this realistic?

Yes

I think so! I'm on around 1000-1200 cals a day and am losing about 2.5 pounds a week at a total of 46 pounds so far. Im planning to lose about another stone before xmas but would have expected more if I didnt have so many dinners planned. I think if you stick to that calorie level per day you will do it :carrot:

I think that you have a great plan. I eat about 1350 (started at 23.1 stone mind) and I have lost 37lbs so far at a rate of about 1.5lbs a week. I currently have no motivation to exercise lol especially for insanity lol. So good luck with everything!! You will do great! just keep it sustainable!

It's a gradual change, you must make sure you can cope with the change, if not adjust your change, however making sure you get to your goal.
